Residential Hydroseeding
Cost
Hydroseeding typically costs less than 1/2 the price of sod. Sod can be expensive, especially when labour is factored in. Hydroseeding requires less installation time and less material, which means you can have a healthy lawn for a fraction of the cost. But one needs to remember that hydroseeding includes mulch to protect the seed, fertilizer, biostimulants, plant hormones, hydrogel, and tackifying agents to reduce the likelihood of erosion. Conventional seeding often requires two or three sowings before a lawn is successfully established. Hydroseeding is often a better value than broadcast or drill seeding.
Commercial Hydroseeding
BOUDREAUHYDROSEEDING ONLY USES TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT ARE DESIGNED AND/OR APPROVED FOR USE HERE IN ATLANTIC CANADA.
Hydroseeding holds moisture better and protects against seed loss and soil erosion from wind and rain and keeps the seed from becoming “bird food”.
The fibre mulch used in the process holds up to ten times its weight in water and allows the seeds to stay moist longer and warm, yet still breathe to give the best germination climate.
More than twice the germination rate, and a much more even distribution of seeds.
